About Us
Over The Moon Play Space was born after a trip to Minneapolis where we visited a play space with wide open areas for running and playing. Our kids were able to get out their energy without being overstimulated. We wanted to have a place like that for kids in the Triangle.
Benjie has always been a self-described space and sci-fi nerd, and our kids and their friends have been fascinated by the universe and space travel for as long as we can remember.

Over the Moon is a space-themed indoor playground where kids can run, jump, play, learn, and explore their interest in STEM.
We are a local, family-owned small business working to balance the needs of our community, employees, children, and our planet. Some of the ways this manifests are:
-
All of our employees are paid living wages, receive paid time off, and a healthcare stipend.
-
We achieve carbon neutrality by purchasing carbon offsets each month.
-
We strive to buy local when possible.
-
We always work to support our local public schools and community non-profits.

While we would not have chosen to open during Covid, the countdown had already begun before we knew what was going to happen. So we worked hard to make our play space as safe as possible for our community, and opened our doors (literally and figuratively).

We know you'll have a great time! Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to let us know what you love, or if there's anything we can do to improve.

Thanks for playing!
