Camp Staff

Zanetha (she/her)

Zanetha is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Charlotte. After earning a B.S. in Elementary Education, Zanetha moved to Raleigh. She has taught first and second grade in Wake County on a traditional and year round schedule. In her free time, Zanetha enjoys spending time with her son and trying out new restaurants.

Alex (she/her)

Alex has had over 10 years of experience teaching science lessons at museums, afterschool programs, and herpetology centers. She loves to inspire children’s natural curiosity with hands-on STEAM projects and imaginative play. Right now, she enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors. Soon, she hopes to be a museum educator at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.

Marlo (they/them)

Originally from Fayetteville, Marlo has lived in Durham with their partner since mid-2021. They are excited about combining education and play in a non-traditional environment with lots of room for creativity and imagination! Their prior work as a licensed mental health counselor and 10+ years of combined experience as a piano instructor & music educator inform their passion for fun-filled experiential learning. In their free time, Marlo can be found playing video games, visiting NC’s beaches, or checking out local outdoor parks, gardens, and plant nurseries.

Kristen (she/her)

Kristen was born and raised in Cary, NC. She earned her BS in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University, with a concentration in math, science, and technology. She taught 3rd grade in Wake County on a traditional schedule. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, painting, skiing, and trying out local coffee shops.

We just completed our first track out camp here and our son loved it. They take covid seriously and the kids get outside daily with a mix of inside and outside activities. Our kiddo was so happy and we [will] happily take him back!

My 6 year old has been attending Over the Moon trackout camps for the past year and they are by far her favorite!! We love the daily activities, the knowledge, enthusiasm and warmth of instructors, and the crafts she brings home. Highly recommend!

Definite 5 stars. My little guy (6) attended astronaut track out camp and absolutely loved it! The place was spacious & clean, the staff was pleasant to work with and showed genuine interest in his daily happiness. We'll definitely be back!
